Auditions: The Wizard of Oz — Youth Edition (Ages 6–18)
Center Stage Players & Arts Repertory Summer Youth Theater Program invites ages 6–18 to audition for our interactive Youth Edition of The Wizard of Oz. This is a team-focused chance to create, learn, and play in a supportive ensemble.

Ages 6–18 (under 6 at directors discretion )
All experience levels welcome
• What will be required at auditions?
Everyone will be taught a short song from the show and anyone interested in a solo part will be asked to sing by themselves. Anyone that does not want a solo part will not be required to sing by themselves! We will also learn a short dance combination and read from the script. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Everyone should bring water, wear comfortable clothes, and closed toe/back shoes or dance shoes.

PARENTS – PLEASE PLAN ON COMING TO AUDITIONS WITH YOUR CHILD TO FILL OUT ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK.
• There is a $350 material fee per participant (sibling discounts, scholarships, and payment plans are available. Please contact us for more information!) All fees go toward cast shirts, materials, show costs, rental fees, etc. All CSPAR production staff/instructors are volunteers!
Rehearsals:
• Starting June 15th
• Mondays & Thursdays 6:30pm-8:30pm (Lead roles/older cast members may be scheduled till 9pm)
• Saturdays 10:00am-2:30pm (Lunch break noon-12:30pm)
• Everyone will not be required to attend every rehearsal. Younger cast members will mainly be scheduled on Saturdays / early on Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Cast members may attend rehearsals they are not scheduled for.
• No rehearsals July 3rd -8th
• Tech week rehearsals July 27th-July 30th 6:00pm-8:30pm (everyone is required to be at these rehearsals. Lead roles/older cast members may be scheduled till 9pm)
• Rehearsal between shows August 6th 6pm-8:30pm
• A final rehearsal schedule will be sent out after June 15th.
Shows:
• 6 shows over two weekends (everyone will be involved in all shows!)
• Friday July 31st & August 7th at 7:00pm and Saturday August 1st & 8th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm
